Hey hey Lovely People! My name is Brooke and I unfuck vibes and align minds for minority business owners and entrepreneurs. Creating a conscious leadership style is key in shifting from running your business to leading your business. I'm a business coach with a dope twist. I focus on the core energy and mindsets and how these impact our success in business. If you have a question, ask away. Connecting and serving are my dominant intent every day in the work I do. Look forward to being of service to you!
We all have that first job that taught us something that would eventually lead into our current career. Maybe you were a waiter, bartender, admin or simply in a customer service role. During those times most of us doubted that we were learning critical things that would help us in our future lives. Hell, I was a DJ in various clubs throwing down night after night. Was I learning anything at that point that would help me in my current business development role? Didn't think so. But I was so wrong about that! But now that I look back I realize that I was watching and reading the crowd. Learning their body language, attitudes and reading their faces. All things that I use now in the sales world. By learning how to engage the people through music I was learning how to command the floor. In business development you must keep that same path. Maintain the attention of your audience and cement your presence wherever you are and with whoever you are in front of! What are some of the first jobs you all had that may have helped in your personal development and you didn't even realize it at the time? Either way it's fun to reminisce about those old times when we were all young and thought we knew everything. Good times. Cheers to everyone that jumps in!
Happy Friday Everyone!’ Carlotta here from beautiful South Carolina and Fired Up 🔥 to be a part of this group! I found my true entrepreneurial spirit at the age of 48! I have to admit that there have been challenges and wall kicking moments, especially when I chose to leave the corporate side of things and branch off on my own!
Probably the biggest challenge I faced initially was letting go of what people thought and their opinions. As a Nurse Practitioner, most did not agree with me leaving the traditional setting, but then again, no one could see my vision. It is actually the best decision I ever made and I am now helping so many people reach their goals on so many levels.
My advice now is to shut the outside noise off!😉 Would love to hear what led you to entrepreneurship, and your biggest challenge!
